課程概述 |
1. 本華語課程乃「高級1-1」課程，提供經由本校分班測驗判定適合學習高級1-1者。
This course is designed for those who are assigned to Pre-Advanced Chinese 1 according to the placement test result.
2. 本課程所使用的教材為《實用視聽華語三》(第一課~第七課)，盼學生能兼顧「聽說讀寫」四方面的語言能力，使學生生活不因語言不通而有障礙，並期望學生能透過課程進一步了解華語及台灣文化。
This course uses the textbook “Practical Audio-Visual Chinese 3” (L1~L7) to help students develop proficient language skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing that would enable them to communicate effectively in their daily life. Through the course, students will further understand Chinese language and Taiwanese culture. |

課程目標 |
1. 習得處理日常生活事務的基本表達能力，能不倚靠自己的母語與他人溝通。
2. 學習日常生活中常用話題之詞彙，能更深入地與華人討論各項議題。
3. 學生能讀、寫正體字，且聽、說兩項能達到各課標準。
4. 能藉由課本內之主題，了解華人習慣與社會文化。 |

課程要求 |
1. 準時上課，不要遲到早退。遲到二十分鐘，視同缺課。
Attend the class on time, and don’t be late for class or leave earlier than scheduled. The student is considered absent if he/she is 20 minutes late for the class.
2. 請準備上課聽寫及寫作業簿用的A4活頁紙。
Have loose-leaf papers (A4 size) ready beforehand for in-class quizzes and for the homework of writing students workbook.
3. 上課時不說英文或其他非中文語言。
Use Chinese exclusively in class. Other languages are not allowed.
4. 上課時不應該做如：寫功課、聊天、睡覺等與課程進行無關的事。需參與課堂活動，聽老師及同學的發言和討論。
Should not write homework or do other things that are not related to the course. It’s essential to participate in the classroom activity and class discussion.
5. 上課時不能使用手機、電腦等電子產品。
No cell phone, laptop, tablet and any electronic devices are allowed in class. （Electronic dictionaries are permitted.）
6. 上課時可以喝水、喝飲料，但不能吃東西。
No food in class, but drinking water or soft drinks is allowed.
7. 按時繳交作業。遲交的作業不收。
Hand in assignments on time. Late submission will not be accepted.
8. 如果無故曠課，不能補考。
No make-up exams will be provided.
9. 違反以上規定皆會影響學期成績。違反一次規定就扣平時表現成績一分。
You will lose one point of scores of Attendance and Performance each time for violation of class regulations.
10. 如果需要請假，請至少兩天前告知講師。
If students need to take a day off, please tell the instructor at least two days before. Except for sick leaves.
11. 期中考與期末考僅病假者能延後考試，但須附上醫生證明。若因個人因素需要提早考期末考，期末考成績將以九成計算，滿分最高只有90分。
The mid-term and final exams can only be postponed due to health issues, a doctor certificate must be attached. If you need to take the final exam earlier due to personal factors, the final exam score will be calculated at 90%, with a maximum score of only 90 points. |

出席及課堂表現 |
20% |
根據學生平時課堂中表現給予成績。但學生若沒有事前請假卻缺課，此項成績將會被另外扣分，缺課時數從第7個小時起每小時扣0.25分，遲到超過20分鐘算缺席一個小時。未事先請假而缺課者，每小時扣0.5分， 缺席超過16小時，不給予學分。
The students would be graded according to their performance in class. From the 7th hour, you will be deducted 0.25 points for per hour. If you are late over 20 minutes, the hour would be considered as absent. However, if a student is absent from class without noticing the instructor in advance, this grade would be deducted 0.5 point per hour. Credits will not be given if student is absent over 16 hours. |

所有作業的成績平均，缺繳將以零分計算。 This is the average of each homework, and would be further deducted because of no submission. |

小考 |
20% |
所有聽寫與每課小考總平均，聽寫和小考均不補考。
This is the average of every dictation and tests of each lesson. Missed tests will be graded 0 and no make-up test will be given. |

期中考 |
20% |
期中考成績，包括筆試及口試(或口頭報告)。未參加之考試以零分計算，期末考僅病假者能延後考試，但須附上醫生證明。若因個人因素需要提早考期末考，期末考成績將以九成計算，滿分最高只有90分。未事先告知而無故缺考者，事後補考成績將以八成計算，滿分最高只有80分。 Final exam includes paper test and oral test/presentation.
